Professional Statement:
Dr. Jideama was born and raised in Atlanta. One of three siblings, she grew up with a strong love for science with her dad being a research professor in biology and her mother being a medical technologist. She attended Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate and medical studies and went on the to receive her residency training at Baylor/Texas Children’s Hospital, the largest children’s hospital in the nation. She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her clinical interests include all things newborn. She cannot wait to serve the families at Pediatrics by the Sea.
